Influencer Marketing: How do I create Proposals in my Campaigns?
Table of Contents
You can use a proposal to invite creators to join a campaign, detail content requirements or establish content ownership. Proposals give you the opportunity to provide information about a campaign to creators as well as other Influencer Marketing team members.
To access proposals from your campaign settings:
- Navigate to the campaign you want to create a proposal for.
- Click Settings in the upper-right corner.
- Click Proposal in the left-hand menu.
There are two sections in the proposal page: the center panel and the right-hand panel. In the center panel, you can preview the proposal as changes are made. The right-hand panel is where you can manage the elements that make up the proposal itself.
How do I create a proposal?
Use the right-hand panel to create a proposal. You can show or hide options for the proposal, including:
- Campaign Overview - Write an overview for the campaign that includes the theme as well as key goals
- Costs & Fees - Edit components like the creator fee, product fulfillment cost and additional costs to include in the Total Cost for cost-based metrics calculations.
- Planned Content - Pull in any planned content from the Content Planning section.
- Shopify Product Fulfillment - Configure your campaign’s default product fulfillment. You can send orders, hide prices, select from available products and also add delivery addresses.
- Shopify Discount Code - Include in any discount codes available for the campaign.
- Content Requirements - Outline any content requirements like what products need to be featured, how they should be positioned and what themes or topics to incorporate.
- Exclusivity - Add any exclusivity requirements for creators like if they should avoid working with competitors and campaign timelines.
- Usage Rights - Add in usage rights like if you’re planning to repurpose content for advertising or other means.
- Content Lifespan - Include how long the content needs to stay published on the creator’s platform.
- Content Ownership - Detail the content ownership terms for the campaign.
- Link Requirements - Add any links that need to be included in the published content.
- Review Process - Detail the review process for all content created for the campaign.
- Payment Terms - Include details around payment terms like a percentage upon signature or percentage paid after deliverables.
- Additional Information - Provide additional details about the campaign that’s important for your creator to understand.
- Attachments - Include any creative images or files your creator needs to use for the campaign.
As you create and edit the proposal, the center panel will reflect your changes in real time and won’t show any elements that you’ve hidden on the right panel. Make sure to review your proposal to ensure all your sections are completed and up to date.
