Influencer Marketing: How do I boost TikTok posts with Spark Ads?
Table of Contents
Spark Ads is a native ad format that enables you to use organic TikTok posts and their features in your advertising. You can publish ads using organic posts made by other creators with their permission. Unlike regular In-Feed ads, Spark Ads use posts from real TikTok accounts, ensuring that all post metrics gained from boosting the video during the promotion are attributed to your organic posts. There is no limit to how many times you can use the same organic TikTok posts as creatives in your ads.
To boost a post through Sprout Social Influencer Marketing, it has to be created using an Invite Link. Learn more about creating Invite Links in this article.
Boosting TikTok Content with Sprout Social Influencer Marketing is a two-step process:
1. Request the Spark Ads Code
In your Influencer Marketing dashboard, navigate to the Campaigns tab and go to any TikTok post that was created with an Invite Link. Select which post you want to use and ask for permission from the creator by requesting a Spark Ads Code.
Send the creator a message to increase the chances of them seeing your request. You can use the template in your campaign messages.
Once the creator accepts your request, you can copy the Spark Ads Code from Influencer Marketing.
2. Boost the post on TikTok
To boost the post, go to ads.tiktok.com and log in with your TikTok Ads Manager account. From there, you can boost your Campaign by selecting the Advertising objective that best suits your needs.
Specify the audience you'd like to get the post in front of and add any other details like the budget, frequency and more. Then select the post you want to boost.
On the screen above, make sure to select Use TikTok account to deliver Spark Ads and Use other authorized account or post. When you click Authorize TikTok post, simply paste the Spark Ads code copied from Influencer Marketing to find the post. Confirm the selection and finalize the submission to boost your post.
