Influencer Marketing: How do I use Creator Flow?
Table of Contents
No two influencers are the same and neither are the workflows you use to bring those influencer campaigns to life. With the Creator Flow, you can toggle on elements most relevant to your organization’s workflow and turn off the ones that you don’t use or need.
Using Creator Flow, you customize the order of your components and keep track of a campaign’s progress using the dashboard. For example, you can edit the flow so you don’t need to skip proposals before moving onto contracting.
When you customize the Creator Flow, you’ll see the changes reflected in different campaign sections. If an element is turned off, you won’t see those elements in the following areas:
- Sections in the creator view
- Sections in the campaign dashboard
- Creators list view columns
- Creator filters
- Bulk actions for creators
How do I create my customized Creator Flow?
Before you get started, it's important to note that only Manager or Editor roles can create customizations in Creator Flow.
To get started:
- Navigate to the Campaign Settings of the campaign you want to customize.
- Click Creator Flow in the left panel.
- Toggle ON or OFF elements in the Creator Flow. You can also drag and drop to reorder them. Customizations include:
-
- Notifications - Choose who receives email notifications about each creator
- Planned Content - Manage content planned for the creator
- Connections - Monitor data permissions to obtain desired campaign posts and metrics
- Review - Approve/disapprove creators internally and request a review from collaborators
- Costs & Fees - Manage all costs and fees for each creator on the campaign
- Proposal - Consolidate and share campaign information to creators
- Contract - Send contracts and track the status of signatures
- Published Content - View content published by each creator in the creator view
- Payments - Use the PayPal integration or track off-platform payments
- Affiliate Link - Define affiliate commissions and generate tracking links
- Shopify Product Fulfillment - Manage creator compensation for planned content
- Shopify Discount Code - Display and edit discount codes from Shopify
-
- Click + Add or Manage Creator Custom Fields to add additional fields for creators.
Global Customization
Organization admins can configure the default campaign workflow in Organization Settings. Any changes made at the organization level will affect campaigns that don’t have a defined creator flow.
If you change the Creator Flow for a specific campaign, those changes will only apply to that campaign. If you want to revert the Creator Flow back to the organization’s default settings, navigate to the Creator Flow and click Reset > Restore.
