Influencer Marketing: How do I add a Collaborator to a Campaign?
Table of Contents
Collaborators are external users you can invite into a campaign to review creators, content or activation performance. Because they’re not regular Influencer Marketing users, Collaborators have limited access to campaigns. You can invite as many Collaborators as you need to fit your unique cross-functional use case.
Sharing is fast, easy, and most importantly, secure, ensuring you have clear visibility into the internal and external parties who are viewing your campaign data.
- Navigate to a campaign from the Campaigns tab.
- Click the campaign you want to add a collaborator to.
- Click Settings in the upper-right corner.
- Click Collaborators in the left navigation bar.
- Click Invite Collaborator.
- You have the choice of how you’d like to share your campaign with Collaborators, either via link or email.
- Link: Copy and paste the link in any communication forum you have with your cross-functional partners. They’ll click the link and will be brought into their authentication flow.
- Email: Enter email addresses and Collaborators will receive their invite via email.
Let’s outline what both of these flows look like below!
Collaborator Link Sharing
- If you’d like to share your campaign via link, toggle on “Allow access via link.”
- You’ll see three new rows appear
- A link that you can copy to clipboard
- An “Approval Required” dropdown
- A permissions dropdown
- If you’d like to have approval controls over who can access your campaign via your Collaborator Link, turn that on. You will receive an approval notification when someone is requesting access. Alternatively, you can leave this off. Please note, as all Collaborators are required to submit their name and email to gain access, you will still have visibility into who is viewing your campaigns.
- Collaborators have access to review creators, content and Campaign Summary by default. You can check any of those off if needed.
- Summary - Gives the collaborator access to the campaign’s summary view.
- Creator Review - Gives the collaborator access to review and approve or disapprove of creators.
- Content Review - Gives the collaborator access to review and approve or disapprove of content creators are submitting (after you request their review).
- When you share your campaign via link and your Collaborator clicks it, they’ll be prompted to enter their name and email address.
Once they do, they’ll receive an email in their inbox to “Access Campaign.”
- Upon clicking, they’ll receive access to the campaign in accordance with the permissions you’ve set in Campaign Settings.
- Optional: If you selected to approve each Collaborator requesting access, you can view these requests in the Collaborator tab of Campaign Settings. You will also receive a notification.
Send Invite via Email
- If you’d like to send your invites via email opposed to links, add the list of Collaborator recipients in the below table. You can add as many recipients as you need.
- Set you permissions for each individual Collaborator.
- Tap “Send Invite.”
- Similarly to the link sharing flow, the Collaborator will receive an email with a prompt to access the campaign.
Managing Collaborators
To ensure your campaign data is safe and secure, each Collaborator is required to provide their name and email (if sharing via link), giving you visibility into who has access, and ability to manage their permissions.
To manage Collaborator users, simply check the box on the left side of the table. This enables you to view their status (Invite Sent or Active) and either:
- Resend their invitation
- Edit their permissions
- Remove them as Collaborators.
