Influencer Marketing: How do I manually add content to a campaign summary?
Table of Contents
When creators use campaign specific keywords, hashtags and phrases, their content is automatically pulled into the campaign summary. You can also manually add content to a campaign summary.
Manually add content to a campaign summary
There are three ways to manually add content into a campaign summary if it’s not automatically pulled in.
To manually add content to the summary:
- Click + Add Content in the upper-right corner of the Summary tab.
- Select from Add Post by Link, Manual Upload or Paid Media Ad.
Supported File Types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, tiff, ico, pdf, doc, docx, odt, pps, ppt, pptx, PSD, xls, xlsx, 3g2, 3gp, avi, m4a, m4v, mov, mp3, mp4, mpg, ogg, ogv, wav, WMV, clip,
Max File Size: 1GB
To add multiple posts, check Add Another in the lower-right corner.
Add post by link
The first option to manually add content is to use a link or URL. To add content via a link:
- Click + Add Content in the upper-right corner of the summary tab.
- Click Add Post by Link.
- Copy and paste the post URL.
This will pull in the actual content and all available metrics into your campaign summary. Add additional post data manually as needed.
Note: Use Full URLs for Better Reliability. If you encounter an error when adding a post by link, it is often because a shortened mobile URL (e.g., fb.watch/, vt.tiktok.com/, or ig.me/) is being used. These links, typically generated from mobile apps, can sometimes be difficult for the system to process.
To resolve this, open the link in a web browser first. Once the page loads, copy the full URL from the address bar (e.g., facebook.com/watch/?v=... or tiktok.com/@user/video/...) and paste that version into the platform instead.
Add post by manual upload
You can add content manually if you can’t add posts using a link. To manually upload a post:
- Click + Add Content in the upper-right corner of the summary tab.
- Click Manual Upload.
- Add posts as attachments or by dragging files into the designated area.
Instagram non-business and non-creator account posts can’t be added via a link and must be added manually.
Select the creator of the content and fill in all applicable metrics so they’re populated in the campaign summary.
When you’re finished, click Add in the bottom right corner to add the post to the campaign summary.
Add post by paid media ad
The third option to add content to the campaign summary is to add a paid media ad.
- Click + Add Content in the upper-right corner of the summary tab.
- Click Paid Media Ad. Search for the creator or brand associated with the ad by using the Find Profile box.
- To add a boosted post from a creator to the summary, select the creator's profile.
- To add a post from a brand’s social platform, select the brand’s profile.
- This gives you the flexibility to include ads associated with creators or brands in your summary.
- Use Influencer Marketing’s various filters to sort through an ad account with multiple ads to find the content you need.
- Add publication date ranges to search for particular ad accounts, campaigns or ad sets.
- Search for the ad name within the ad account or the copy used in the ad itself.
You can also add dark posts or targeted ads that appear in a user’s feed but not on their timeline using the paid media ad option. To add multiple ads, use the multi-select feature and click Add so they appear in the content section of the campaign summary.
To connect a Facebook ad account to Influencer Marketing, go to Organization Settings > Facebook Ad Accounts. Learn more about paid media integration in this article.
