Creator Hub: Managing Your Account, Security & Profile Settings
Table of Contents
As a creator collaborating with brands on Sprout Social Influencer Marketing, you can manage your personal details, connected social networks, security preferences, and account status directly within Creator Hub.
This guide walks you through managing your login credentials, enabling two-factor authentication, disconnecting individual social accounts, and permanently deleting your Creator Hub account if needed.
Are you a Brand or Agency Admin?
If you are looking to remove an invited team member or adjust seat permissions for your brand’s workspace, this guide does not apply to you. Instead, see How do I manage users and user permissions?.
Accessing Creator Hub Settings
Log in to Creator Hub at app.tagger.media (or via your brand's custom Creator Hub portal link).
Click the Settings (gear icon) located in the bottom-left navigation bar.
-
Choose the relevant settings tab:
General Settings / Profile: Update your contact details, display name, and shipping/delivery addresses for product seeding.
Connections: View, refresh, or disconnect authenticated social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, X).
Security: Change your password, configure Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), and manage account deletion.
Notifications: Choose which campaign events send email or in-app alerts.
Payments: Manage your payout provider (PayPal, Direct Deposit, or Lumanu).
Disconnecting a Social Profile vs. Deleting Your Account
If you no longer want to share metrics for a specific social account or need to switch handles, you do not need to delete your entire Creator Hub account. You can disconnect individual channels instead.
How to Disconnect a Social Network
In Creator Hub, go to Settings → Connections.
Find the connected platform (e.g., Instagram or TikTok).
Click Disconnect next to the specific account handle.
Confirm the prompt.
Disconnecting an account immediately pauses first-party data sharing and story tracking for that specific platform, but preserves your campaign history, messaging threads, delivery addresses, and payout details.
Managing Security & Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
To protect your personal data, payment information, and campaign contracts:
Navigate to Settings → Security.
Update Password: Enter your current password, input your new password, and click Save Password.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Toggle on 2FA to require an authentication code alongside your password when logging in. Follow the on-screen prompt to link your preferred authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or 1Password).
How to Permanently Delete Your Creator Hub Account
⚠️ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Deleting your Creator Hub account will:
Permanently revoke all connected social media authentication tokens.
Delete your profile details, shipping addresses, and saved payment preferences.
Remove your direct messaging access with active campaign managers.
Terminate pending proposal submissions and contract workflows in Creator Hub.
If you are certain you want to permanently remove your account:
In Creator Hub, navigate to Settings (gear icon in the bottom-left corner).
Select Security under General Settings.
Scroll down to the Delete Account section at the bottom of the page.
Click Delete your account in Creator Hub.
Review the confirmation prompt, enter your current password to verify your identity, and click Confirm Delete.
Your account and associated login credentials will be immediately purged from the platform.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What happens to historical campaign posts after I delete my account?
Publicly published social posts that were already shared and tracked in prior campaigns remain part of historical campaign reports. However, first-party private metrics (such as Instagram Story impressions or TikTok profile reach) will no longer update.
Can I reactivate my account after deleting it?
No. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. If you want to collaborate with brands using Sprout Social Influencer Marketing in the future, you will need to accept a new invitation and create a new Creator Hub profile.
I am locked out or having trouble deleting my account. What should I do?
If you no longer have access to your registered email address or cannot log in, contact the campaign manager or brand you are collaborating with, or reach out to our support team at influencersupport@sproutsocial.com.
