Hi, my name is Sammy Joseph and I'm excited to walk you through how to add and refresh creator profiles within Sprout's influencer marketing platform in today's Sprout Bites video. This feature is especially useful when you want to add a creator who isn't currently in the platform, add multiple creators at once, or add bulk profiles directly into a creator list, whether their profiles already exist in the platform or not. Let's first walk through the different ways that you can add profiles. First, you can add profiles directly within the search experience. If you search for a creator and they currently aren't in the platform, you'll be prompted to add that creator via URL. From there, paste in the profile link and we'll take care of the rest. You can also add profiles in bulk from within creator lists. To do this, navigate to the creator list that you wish to add creators to, click on Add, and select Import via CSV. This method will automatically add those creators directly to your list, and it works whether the profiles already exist in the platform or not — making it a great option for onboarding large creator groups quickly. Next, refresh rates can vary based on multiple factors, including platform API rate limits and whether or not the profile is part of an active campaign. Profiles that are part of active campaigns are refreshed more frequently since up-to-date data is more critical during live activations. If you would like to manually refresh a profile, you can do so by hovering into the details section, clicking the refresh icon, and selecting Refresh Profile. When working closely with creators, we strongly recommend requesting creator authentication, also known as creator opt-in. While authentication isn't required for a profile to exist in the platform, creators who opt in allow us to unlock additional metrics that otherwise wouldn't be available. This gives you deeper visibility into performance and more confidence when making decisions. Creator opt-in also benefits creators directly — authenticated creators gain access to our free Creator Hub, where they can communicate directly with brands, manage collaborations more easily, and view campaign details and performance. To request authentication, go to the creators tab within a campaign, select the creator, and select View within Connections, Requests, Stories, and Insights. We have a message template that you can customize and send to the creator to request that they authenticate into Sprout's Creator Hub. The next time you're looking to add creators to the platform, feel free to use either of the two methods we covered today. And when you're planning to activate creators in campaigns, I highly encourage requesting authentication. This quick two-minute step can make a big difference in optimizing what is often a multi-month creator partnership.
