Utilizing Keyword Groups in Influencer Marketing
Table of Contents
Managing influencer programs at scale often involves tracking the same brand terms and hashtags across dozens of different campaigns.
Keyword Groups are reusable sets of keywords, hashtags, and profile handles that can be applied across your Workspace wherever keyword filtering is supported - including Reports, Campaign Summaries, and Profiles.
The Bulk Add for Keyword Groups, allows you to import large volumes of keywords in a single action using either a CSV upload or streamlined copy-paste functionality
Creating Workspace-Level Keyword Groups
- Navigate to Settings → Workspace → Keyword Groups
- Click + Add Keyword Group.
- Give your group a descriptive name (e.g., "Global Brand Safety - Q3").
- Add any keywords or type @ to search and add any profiles for your tracking
- Utilize ”Add Row for ‘And’ Logic” for any keywords that should be paired with specific keywords in your filtering
- Click Save!
Adding Keywords in Bulk
By clicking the three dots when adding or editing a Keyword Group, you can add up to 1,000+ keywords at once using two methods:
- Copy & Paste: Paste a list of terms separated by commas or new lines directly into the text field.
- CSV Upload: Upload a standard CSV file. The system will automatically scan for duplicates and malformed entries.
Managing Workspace-Level Keyword Groups in Settings
Within Settings, you can add, remove, edit, and copy your global Keyword Groups. You will also have the option to copy your Keyword Group to another Workspace.
Global Keyword Groups are scoped to the Workspace rather than the Organization. This separation is intended to limit Keyword Group clutter and promote intentionality. However, you do have the option to copy Keyword Groups between workspaces within the same Organization to use them more broadly.
Note: Removing or editing a global Keyword Group, affects every place it is used and cannot be undone.
Using Keyword Groups in Campaigns or Reports
Once saved, you can begin utilizing your global Keyword Groups across your Workspace within Campaigns and Reports. Within Campaigns, you can filter the Summary using your saved Keyword Groups, as shown below:
Within Reports, you can add Keyword Groups as a filter within multiple ways, including any of the available tabs, components, or within the Parameters available within Settings:
Keyword Groups FAQs
Q: Can I convert a local campaign keyword list into a global, Workspace Keyword Group?
A: Yes, you can convert local keyword lists you have set up in your Campaigns, Reports, etc if you'd like to have them available across your Workspace. When viewing your selected keyword filters, click the three dots next to your local keyword list to access the option to convert to a Workspace Keyword Group.
Q: What happens if I delete a Keyword Group in Workspace Settings?
A: You will be prompted to confirm. Deleting a group will remove those terms from all linked campaigns, which may impact historical reporting data.
Q: Can I use the same Keyword Group across multiple Workspaces?
A: Keyword Groups are scoped to the Workspace rather than the Organization. This separation is intended to limit Keyword Group clutter and promote intentionality. However, you do have the option to copy Keyword Groups between workspaces within the same Organization to use them more broadly.
